What is Mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy is a medical specialty, which involves injecting
microscopic quantities of natural plant extracts, homeopathic
agents, pharmaceutical agents and vitamins into the skin to
treat a variety of conditions. The Physician will select a
formula customized to treat your condition. Mesotherapy can
be used to treat or assist in a variety of conditions such
as: cellulite, weight loss, spot reduction, and rejuvenation
of the skin.

What are the benefits
of Mesotherapy over surgical techniques such as liposuction?
Liposuction does not treat cellulite and in fact often ends
up, making the cellulite more prominent. Mesotherapy treats
cellulite directly and the result is a smoother skin surface.
Mesotherapy also spot reduces fat in specific areas, like
“love handles”. The fat deposits flush out of specific
areas and the body does not gain the weight back in other
areas, which often happens after liposuction. Mesotherapy
is a non-surgical procedure that does not require hospital
admittance, general anesthesia, or downtime.

Cellulite treatments include treating several factors. The
doctor will create a formula to treat the fat in the cellulite,
the impaired circulation and the bad connective tissue therefore

Mesotherapy can target specific areas or spots where your

will I need?

to be treated. The number of visits can be anywhere from 5-15,

can be seen in two or three sessions. For certain conditions

last?
The results do last! However, aging is a dynamic process.

need to address the symptoms of aging as they manifest. Mesotherapy

painful?

painless. A variety of modalities are used, from topical anesthetic

Are there any side
effects?
You may experience some bruising, which resolves over one
week. To speed up the healing process, we can recommend the
appropriate supplements such as Wobenzyme to be taken orally
or topical ointments such as Traumeel to be applied to help
decrease bruising.
